I’m a recovering perfectionist with two amazing little boys who continually remind me a) I don’t know everything b) It’s ok that I don’t know everything c) see a and b.
Before I became full-time “mommy,” I had taught high school English for 11 years, was a teacher supervisor/trainer, and a certified principal going full speed ahead to getting my Ph.D. and superintendent certification…until the “+” appeared on my home pregnancy test two months after my wedding!
That….changed….everything! Now, ten years, two sons, and one divorce later, I’m realigning my reality with my God-ordained destiny.
Because I’ve been an educator for 20+ years, I love working with and encouraging youth to be the best version of themselves.
Because I’m now a divorced mom, I love encouraging women through my experiences in staying the course ( in spite of trials), to their own “Jeremiah 29:11 promise of God.”
Because I’m a Christian, I love sharing “golden nuggets” of truth from the Bible and making them relevant to everyday life for believers.
Because I’m a mom of a child with food allergies, I aim to inform and be better informed on how to give our children a better quality of living in spite of.
Finally, because I am a parent with young boys, I love finding family-friendly things to do around town and sharing them!
Check out my blog and get a front row seat to all my adventures!
I’d love to hear from you! And, if something inspires you or encourages you, share it with others!
I’m glad you stopped by. 🙂
